I've decided to pack out my rusty old artisan abilities to make this Luna figurine for the Lunafest in Hamburg/Germany. So, this it what came out.
The figurine is completely handmade with Fimo Soft. The stability of wings and neck is guaranteed by a wireframe inside the Fimo. She's multilayer colored with Citadel acryl colors and sealed by a mat lacquer spray.
I wanted to share this work much earlier, but in trouble with lots of work I totally forgot

She has already found a new home in Switzerland, owned by 'Araseses'

Now the donation certificate of the Snow Leopard Trust has arrived

. 65$ of the figurine went to save and protect the Snow Leopards, the animal protection project I support. Read more here ->

It is really difficult to create a mane as fluffy as it is shown on the newest version of luna, especially
with the transparent look. Perhaps with other working materials except Fimo/Sculpey. But if I do Luna again one time, I will rethink this. You're totally right with Lunas changing and that makes it confusing not only for sculptors.
In fact i'm planing for a Luna for myself but with the same Mane problem. Even it's only a crossbread and Luna is one of the two parts.
How big was this figure anyway?
You work on Cadance? Nice, i want to see her if she's done. Do you make her for your own or to sell her too?
And about the Crossbreed, she will be no anthro. More like the golems i create. Yust bigger. The Body and some characteristics from Luna, combined with the Design of this Miniature. [link] In fact, there are no less than four classes of those constructs in this Tabletop fraction plus one unique one. And each of them has it's own base size. The smallest are on the standard Base, yust as my anthros. The next are those i build. Then comes the bigo ones, inclouding the unique.
And then is the last one. And that will be a real challenge to convert this one in a Pony. [link]
At the moment my work has stopped due to exam learning and a lack of some colours, but she's for sell. Someone suggested
me to do a Cadance next as a general idea, but I'm not that big fan of her. I'm just no fan of strict commisssions concerning sculpturing, especially OC's, as you can't change something on the sculpture after shaping and hardening it.
I simply can't imagine a crossbreed between a golem and Luna ^.^ But I like your anthro miniatures. Most of the anthro works I've seen are...well...at least strange or simply over the skill of the crafter. It's of my interest to see how you work with this plastic stuff. Looks like resin and the details are nearly as fine as the Warhammer miniatures. In comparison to Fimo, Fimo looks clumsy.
Uh, commissions. I think i know what you mean.
About the Luna Warden: At the moment, she's only a Sketch. But it will look like this. [link]
I'm using Plastic and a epoxy putty called Pro Create for making my miniatures. According to your gallery, your famillar with Tabletop. Pro Create is the same as green Stuff, only finer. You find it here or in a Warhammer Shop. [link]
Ya, I know green stuff, though I don't like it very much. Interesting scetch. How big will she be?
